With its smooth tannin and persistent this Malbec is just the right companion for a juicy steak. The wine owes its depth and fullness and the beautifully rounded flavor to a gentle use of wood for 6 months. The Beefsteak Club Beef & Liberty Malbec is lively and smells intensely of ripe blackberries and plums with a hint of milk chocolate. The grapes for Callia Selected Malbec were harvested by hand early in the morning in order to take advantage of the cool hours and to ensure transport at the right heat. The long lasting mouthfeel of this wine from Argentina is supported by firm, structured and yet sweet and pleasant tannins. Dense flavors of wild berries, raspberries and cherries merge with notes of vanilla, which are due to the aging in oak barrels.
